Saint Collages Privacy Policy

Saint Collages is a photo collage app for iPhone that runs entirely on your device. Choosing layouts, cutting out subjects, drawing stickers and exporting are all done by the iPhone itself. The app has no servers and no accounts.

The short version. The app collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your photos stay where you put them.

1. What the app collects

Nothing. Saint Collages does not collect, transmit or store any personal data outside your device. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.

2. What stays on your device

Your collages and the photos in them live in the app’s own storage on your iPhone. If you turn on “Store collages in iCloud Drive” in Settings, they are stored in your own iCloud Drive under a “Saint Collages” folder, using Apple’s iCloud service under Apple’s privacy terms; the app never sees your Apple ID.

The Diagnostics page in Settings keeps a short diary of what the app is doing, such as the size and format of an export, and the reports iOS hands the app about crashes and freezes. They are shown to you, and they are shared only if you choose to share them. They never say what is in a collage.

3. Permissions the app asks for, and why

PermissionWhy
PhotosTo bring in the photos you choose, through the system picker, and to save finished collages. The app does not read your library beyond what you pick.
CameraTo take a photo straight into a collage, when you ask for it.

Each permission is requested only when you first use that feature, and you can change your mind at any time in iOS Settings.

4. The one thing that leaves the device, when you ask for it

A place stamp names where a photo was taken, from the location recorded in the photo’s own file. To turn those coordinates into a place name the app asks Apple’s geocoding service, which receives the coordinates and nothing else, under Apple’s privacy terms. This happens only when you add a place stamp. Exports never carry a photo’s location.

Nothing else is sent anywhere. Saving to Photos, printing by AirPrint and sharing use the system’s own sheets.

5. No generative AI, no remote analysis

Saint Collages uses no generative AI. The subject cut-out and the placing of photos around faces are Apple’s on-device Vision framework. They read your photos on the device and nowhere else.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children, and it collects no data from anyone.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date at the top.
